Metals USA Insulated Roof Panels
Now ENERGY STAR Approved!

Metals USA Building Products, L.P. is pleased to announce that our Insulated Roof Panels in colors white and wheat, only, and sold under the trade names Solar-X™, ProFab™ and Solar III™ have earned ENERGY STAR approval and now qualify for potential tax credits under Section 25C(c) of The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

The available tax credit is based on 30% of the cost of Insulated Roof Panel system.  The maximum available tax credit is $1,500. Installation charges do not qualify for the tax credit.

To claim your tax credit, you must have your contractor complete the Contractors Verification Form.  Attach the completed form and the Metals USA Building Products “Manufacturers Certification Statement”, your receipts and retain with your 2010 tax documents. These documents do not need to be submitted with your tax return, but should be retained in your tax records. Be sure to include the proper credit amount on your 2010 tax return.
